New Start is a 15 minute complimentary telephone discovery session to discover if working together is right for you. This session assists you to understand how holistic nutrition can help you reach your personal health goals. After all, you are what you eat, digest, think and feel. This brief introduction to what we can do together will help educate you about what your body requires, and how I can be your partner in helping you get there. There is no fee for this session.

Initial Consult and Full Assessment 
When you book your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a series of intake forms. The information on these forms will provide me with insight into your personal goals, your main health concerns, your specific health history, your current symptoms, as well as aspects of your current lifestyle and eating habits. You will also fill out a multiple-day food diary. These forms will be completed and sent to me before the first visit to give me more insight into what's going on with you, and to help me prepare.
During the initial consultation, we will discuss your intake forms in detail. I want to get a sense of what has brought you to where you are today. There is no cookie cutter solution, as we are all individuals. I will be using my skills to identify imbalances and opportunities to introduce change by examining your diet and lifestyle to date. I will begin by giving you one simple life-lasting change you can implement right away to begin to shape your healthy future.

First Follow Up Session
In the first follow-up appointment, I will then present you with a customized nutrition and lifestyle plan that is designed to help you achieve your health goals and address your main health concerns. You will leave with an action plan designed specifically for you. You will likely be provided with a few key items to work on over the short term. Typically, this would be the beginning of a process that will involve a transition to long term changes, reduction in symptoms, and a path to increased vitality. I will become your educator, your coach and on some days, your conscience. Ultimately, you will have found yourself a partner in your health journey – someone who now knows and understands your needs. This process will continue in follow up sessions, based on a plan we come up with together which will be uniquely tailored to your specific needs. You will be able to contact me as much as needed between sessions as coaching is a component of your care.
